about

Juno Review: established nu-disco label Pizzico have really outdone themselves with this latest release by Sweden's Richard Rossa. It's all about the decadent party vibes here, with "Top Hat" coming across like a particularly percussive and sleazy vintage Bobby O Banger. Lured in by the original's pong of amyl nitrate, a salivating In Flagranti turn in a slightly dubber, electro-house version. Monitor 66 go a different route - opting for a gorgeous aquatic 80s Miami sound. Bonus track "Cosmopolitics" is a cool, drawn-out electro-pop joint, which gets a positively sumptuous reworking by Rambla Boys.
